About Us

The Washington State Genealogy Society is (like a butterfly) morphing into a dynamic organization serving all the genealogy societies in Washington (and nearby Oregon and Idaho). The goal of WSGS is to truly coordinate all information between societies, to share information between WSGS and among societies and to coordinate the annual state conference (which we promise will be better in all ways).

To this end, WSGS began this blog. The purpose of the WSGS blog is to be of service and help to all genealogists and genealogical societies in the area.

Please encourage your friends and the members of your society to take a peek. If they like what they see, all they have to do is enter their email address where it says "Follow By Email." Then any postings to the WSGS blog will come directly into their email inbox. Simple as an apple!
